Banana toting...

My husband went to Starbucks this morning to get a chocolate/banana Vivano... they told him the bananas were not ripe enough to use. SO, this is the embarrassing part, he went out to his car and BROUGHT THEM HIS OWN BANANA TO USE!! Who carries their own bananas around???? My husband... that's who...

The natives are restless!!

While it is usually FUN to have a whole week of school off, there really isn't a lot to do. Especially since I really don't want to venture down into town for fear of getting stuck there with no gas to return! I don't know which places still are without power, or what, so I am just going to stay here in Katy. Katherine and I went out taking pictures at the park yesterday, and it made our allergies/sinus infection worse (more stinkin' fresh air!), plus now my ear feels like it is being stabbed with an ice pick! Woohoo! I spent all last night with a makeshift heating pad (sock filled with rice and then heated in the microwave) stuck to the side of my face. Amazingly, it worked! What to do today???? I guess I should post the pictures we took, although I was trying to pretend to be a professional photographer, and it just didn't work. :(

First time...

Against my better judgement, I have decided to try this "blog" that everyone seems infatuated with. Plus, I am really bored since school is being cancelled for 6 days due to IKE! I guess it is for the best though, since Katherine and I both appear to have gotten sinus infections from sleeping with the windows open the other night. I also need an outlet to write about the cuteness of my children. Even if nobody reads it, it makes me feel better to document the extreme perfection that oozes from my babies....
